Thinking about my journey to weaving, it started with my mom. Go figure I’m posting today, with yesterday being Mother's Day (love you Mama!).

Growing up, she always had a loom in the house, and usually several fiber projects in the works (sewing, quilting and knitting in addition to weaving), I distinctly remember helping batch weave Santa pillows and ornaments leading up to the holidays. My favorite, however, is her framed blue overshot. I absolutely love the texture of the wool and the beautiful circle pattern.
